  • Deadly emails

Excerpted from www.collegehumor.com

E-mails are the norm these days when communicating, along side instant messaging and the ever popular Twitter.
Sometimes one would neglect the proper etiquette when using them to get the message across.

Using abbr oly udestood by urself?
(Using abbreviations only understood by yourself)
The English scholars might let some words slide such as great = gr8, talk to you later = ttyl, you all = y'all but you need to know that sometimes it is okay to leave the words as they are. Just remember that SMS charges by page and not by the number of characters.

Attaching a gazillion of images that sizes range from 20 MB to 25 MB. Each.
Not only will it take hours to download, but it would spam up the recipient's email as well but prevents other emails from reaching their inbox and bouncing back to the sender. So spend a little time to compress those files.

Using emoticons.

But, your recipient will only think you are a 10-year-old who still needs placards to illustrate what you want to say.
Keep it simple to the smileys.
