Social web gaming has never been easier! On April 8th 2010, Friendster releases two premium web based MMO games, namely Boomz and War 2; both published by mmog.asia. Now Friendster users have more reason to hang out on the web! Friendster aims to deliver more easy to access, entertaining, locally flavoured and highly immersive MMO web games to Friendster users. Friendster plans to launch at least 10 to 15 games from various game publishers by the end of the year.

Both games are web based; this means that no client is required to be downloaded or installed. Best of all, Boomz and War2 is Free to Play! All you have to do is to log into Friendster, select Boomz or War2 from the dropdown menu (or the side bar) and you are all set for hours of unlimited fun.

Boomz

Boomz is a cute web-based Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) which runs directly from your web browser (IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome). Boomz features captivating images, enchanting fairy tale scenes and fashionable costumes which make it an enthralling game to explore. Topped up with magnificent special effects, skill challenges and an interesting gadget system, you would be immersed in fun for hours!

Starting the game is really easy. It just takes moments to load up Boomz in your browser via your Friendster account page, choose the look of your character, name your character and select a game channel. For rookies, you can hang around in Channel 1 until you are more familiar with the game (or until you reach level 8).

To get into action straightaway, join a game at the Game Hall where there are plenty of game rooms which other players have created or you can just create one yourself. You don't have to worry about getting 'pawned' by the seasoned players though. The game play is really simple! There is even a tutorial to help you get around.

The aim of the game is to shoot and damage your opponent with your selected long range weapons. You win the game round by eliminating the other players in the round. You can dodge other players' projectiles by moving your character around the map area. All of this involves a certain level of precision and timing. But don't fret - you will get a hang of it! Level up your character to get stronger and obtain bountiful rewards by accepting missions at the Mission Center.

In Boomz, other than upgrading your character, you can also upgrade your weapons at the Blacksmith Shop. You would need various ingredients such as Enhancement Stones and Element Stones to Synthesize, Enhance, Transform or Smelt your items.

You can meet lots of game buddies by joining an Alliance or even signing up at the Pal Center. In Boomz, there is an interesting Marriage Feature where your game characters can get married. Have a grand wedding ceremony at the Wedding Hall complete with wedding rings, fireworks and guests!

The most exciting feature of the game would be the Shopping Mall. With myriads of costumes, facial expressions, gadgets, accessories, tools and weapons, you will go gaga in shopping paradise! If you are looking for something particularly rare or if you are on a budget, you should visit the Auction Hall where you can get practically any in-game equipment/item to boost up your game character.

Boomz is a great Free to Play MMO game that would give you hours of entertainment. Packed with fun features with a multitude of items and gadgets to spruce up your character, you won't get bored in the world of Boomz! MMO gaming is so much easier on Friendster!

War 2 

War2 is an online casual MMO web game that will bring players back to the war torn years of World War II. You assume a role as a military commander in charge of an occupied town in a war torn world seeking to survive, develop and to ultimately establish yourself as a stable and powerful force. You will take part in urban management, manage production, research, trade and labour management. You will also need to interact with other players via military or diplomatic means.

The game replicates the scenes of WWII very closely. It features real heroes from WWII including famous generals such as Patton, Guderian, Rommel the Desert Fox and Wolf Pack Leader Karl Doenitz and showcases their particular styles. The game also uses real troops from World War II using their features and functions while creating a balanced game. By using these generals and troops to your strengths, you would be able to pull off major military victories.

Explore the high seas and establish a strong naval force to fully exploit the rich marine resources. Together, you and your allies can rule the coast lines and monopolize these resources and crush any foe you meet!
