He was once known as the bad boy of fashion for his zany designs like a motorbike outfit complete with side mirrors and a headlight, and for using porn star Jeff Stryker to model for one of his shows in Paris. Although he's retired from designing clothes, Thierry Mugler still works on special projects. He recently created costumes for Beyonce's I Am.... world tour.

And, just last week, the Thierry Mugler accessories store opened its doors in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. It stocks watches, costume jewellery and bags.

The bold timepieces come with straps or cuff-style, while accessories include necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings and brooches. 
What makes them so attractive and typically Mugler is the star-shaped accent, which has been the French couturier's symbol for years. As for the bags, they're all eye-catching in shiny materials, distinctive colours and detailed with the ubiquitous star.
