UPM vs UIAM
INTI College put on a basketball clinic as they pulverised helpless Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) 94-16 in the University College Basketball League (UCBL) last Saturday.
INTI shot out to a commanding lead at the Batu 11 Cheras Court in Balakong with a 23-3 run in the first quarter and continued to dominate in a one-sided match over KLIUC.
The INTI team who had a sizable advantage in terms of height and size quickly established their inside game against the much smaller line-up of KLIUC.
The INTI team was led by Kevin Anaclet Kuete, who scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds and a total of 5 steals and assists.
Kevin scored a total of 63 points, polished the boards with 34 rebounds and was a stellar lock-down defensive player with 8 steals and two blocks. He also showed leadership and unselfish play as he managed a total of 12 assist in the tournament.
Despite having such a prolific scorer in their repertoire, INTI did not field their best team as Kevin's brother Chris "The Machete" Kuete, starting forward for the KL Dragons, who was supposed to play for INTI is still away on holiday in his hometown.
Chris who is an offensive power house will be a big addition to the already potent INTI offense in their bid to take the UCBL championship home.
