(L-R) Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James attend the Miami HEAT Summer of 2010 Welcome Event at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

One of the National Basketball Association's best players, LeBron James, shook the entire league last week with his decision to team-up with the Miami Heat, much to the delight of their 2006 Finals MVP Dwayne Wade and newly acquired forward, Chris Bosh.
Bosh, whose decision to come down to South Beach was the initial piece that sparked it all, swayed Wade away from a move to Chicago and agreeing to resign with the Heat.
With Wade and Bosh forming the league's latest one two punch down in Miami, James just couldn't help but join the party, leaving his hometown Cleveland and moving down to South Beach.
Wade, James and Bosh may now very well be the powerhouse trio that will rock the league for years to come. Just like when Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined the Boston Celtics, fans are looking forward to arguably the most explosive triple threat to bring another championship to Miami.
In fact Wade was sure that the impact of James and Bosh would immediately result in a championship title.
"We are here to win the championship. We're not here to sell jerseys. We're not here to pump up ratings. The goal is to win championships. If we don't do that, we're gonna be harder on ourselves than you can be on us." He added.
Bosh also voiced his confidence that this partnership would ultimately lead to the birth of a great dynasty starting with this season.
"We aren't afraid to be great" he added.
And none would be greater than James, who was regarded to have a Jordan like impact on the game when he was drafted by Cleveland seven seasons ago.
His decision to leave his hometown was met with a furious frenzy much reminiscent of witch hunts of old as fans took to the street and set his number 23 Cleveland Cavalier jersey on fire, stoning and removing his mural which had once brought so much pride to the people of Cleveland.
James also had to endure a brutal press conference by Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert about how he quit on the team and how the 'bad karma' of Cleveland's former king will be a curse wherever he chooses to play.
Gilbert even went so far as to guarantee that the Cleveland Cavaliers would win a Championship without James before he does.
James said that the moment leading up to his decision have been exciting and nerve wrecking and the reaction to it has been somewhat disappointing.
"I really don't have a reaction to what Dan said. When things hit the fan, you see guys' true colors. I wish that organisation the best of luck and I wish those fans the best of luck, because I do love them, no matter where I put myself for the rest of my life" adding that Gilbert's comments cannot "stop me and my family from sleeping at night."
James also called out to Orlando Magic's coach Stan Van Gundy and general manager Otis Smith, who questioned James' nerve for feeling the need to run to Wade and Bosh for help by saying "Orlando, it's on."
Yes most of it is still just talk; after all there is still three whole months before the start of training camp, but the thought of these three playing in the same uniform against the Los Angeles Lakers is truly mouth watering for most basketball fans not living in Cleveland.
