As a kid, I always thought that Delifrance was a pastry shop. Contrary to my belief, this outlet is actually a bistro that offers not just pastries but a wide array of French culinary delights, plus a whole lot more!
And this Ramadan, Delifrance is inviting all their customers to break fast with their Ramadan set meal.
The menu comes with the standard soup of the day, a spicy yet flavourful serving of chicken curry served with rice, two scoops of ice-cream and a glass of 100 Plus.
We were among the first to sample this serving. We found the soup - cream of mushroom with generous portions of mushroom bits - really nice, and a good way to start off the meal. The chicken curry was a spicy burst of flavours that offered a filling meal when eaten with rice. And the two scoops of ice cream for dessert provided for a fitting end to a spicy meal.
Another great part to this meal is the price - a mere RM15.50, fairly easy on your wallet.
By adding RM9.90, for those with a bigger appetite, you can add on two baguettes with a serving of curry chicken or sambal ikan bilis. Or, you could have three pieces of gourmet puffs and a 1.5 litre bottle of 100 plus. Be warned though, only add on if you are really hungry or are planning to share the meal.
This promotion runs from August 1 to September 12, alongside Delifrance's enormously popular meal sets.
