Some things are best in twos, and KFC is here to double the deliciousness with their new Hot & Spicy Shrimp! Combining the best of both worlds, KFC paired their wildly popular Hot & Spicy flavour with fresh, succulent shrimps, deep fried to golden perfection.

Marinated in the same Hot & Spicy marinade as the chicken, the shrimps offer the same 'kick' in bite-sized crunches. Perfect as a snack on-the-go, these tantalising shrimps will please even the fussiest of palates.

"We are targeting customers who are fond of shrimp and frequent KFC for the Hot & Spicy flavour, but are still looking and ready for something new," said managing director of KFC Holdings Malaysia, Jamaludin Md Ali.

While it is not the first time KFC has introduced shrimps into their menu (the Shrimp Stix and Shrimp Hearties were available for a limited time previously), it's the first time they have taken two popular dishes and combined them into one - and they have done so successfully.

Judging from the countless empty plates of shrimp at the launch held just two days ago, it was a hit with everyone who was present. All at once satisfying, crispy and flavourful, it is both new and familiar to loyal KFC fans.

The Hot & Spicy Shrimp is available ala carte at RM5.20 and as a combo set for RM 11.20 (comes with a drink of rose syrup, coleslaw, mashed potato and two pieces of chicken (Original and Hot & Spicy)). But hurry! It is only available for two months, starting now until September 30.
