Kenny Rogers Introduces Balinese Chicken

All at once sweet, sour and spicy, awaken your tastebuds this Ramadhan month with Kenny Rogers' latest Balinese Chicken.

Chicken is not my preferred meat. There. I said it.

I don't like its dry, stringy texture, and I don't like how it needs to be cooked in a million different ways to make it taste anything special. But I do like chicken done one way, and one way only: When it's done at Kenny Rogers.

The reason I say this is not because I am biased, but because at Kenny Rogers, chicken tastes like something special. It is juicy, tender, and flavourful. It is also healthier, less salty and has less fat. And guess what? It comes with three different sidelines and a home-made muffin, which (as we all know) Kenny Rogers is famous for.

So during Ramadhan, even though I am not fasting, I will be at Kenny Rogers, eager for a second taste of its new Balinese Chicken - which is the brand's signature rotisserie quarter chicken with sweet, sour and spicy gravy that will bring eager tastebuds to life.

Available for a limited time only, it is priced at a worth-your-money RM 16.90++. I chose the Aromatic Rice, Coleslaw, and Mashed Potato and Gravy for my sidelines. The Aromatic Rice was a great way to enjoy the sauce, and the Coleslaw has always been my favourite. To finish off on a sweet note, I bit into the banana muffin, and washed it all down with an Ice-Blended Mocha.

In the past, Kenny Rogers has even explored various menu items with fish and lamb, to great success, so bringing something new and fresh to the plate has never been a problem.

Esther Woo, Senior Brand Manager of Berjaya Roasters Sdn. Bhd., says: "We are always challenging ourselves to come up with innovative ideas to make our rotisserie chicken more unique and appealing to our customers."

And since it is Ramadhan, Kenny Rogers is offering the ROASTERS Ramadhan Reservation (RRR), which is a hassle-free way for customers to enjoy Kenny Rogers. With just three easy steps, guests need only to call or walk into a Kenny Rogers restaurant, confirm the dining time and order, then pay the bill to get an assigned table number.

Simply arrive half an hour before your dining time and your meal is piping hot and ready for you. Now  doesn't that make you want to drop by their outlet or call 1-300-888-878 to have it arrive at your doorstep?
