These "PAPER" Bag ain't Cheap

They look like any other paper bag but they're costly. Tagged in the four-figure sum each, "paper" bags by Proenza Schouler and Loewe are the latest anti-IT totes.

Created to defy the IT bag phenomenon, these totes appear to be discreet on the outside despite bearing their designer names inside. "Non-bags" bags are not exactly new though.

Moschino once had a black vinyl bag that resembled the ubiquitous garbage bag while Chanel, a few seasons ago, came up with a square tote that looked like its shopping bag.

While the reasons behind these creations are to counter people's obsession with status satchels, we think it can only work if the bags are reasonably priced. What say you?
