Lower rates, more bonuses with new Celcom Blue pack

Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad] recently launched its newly enhanced prepaid product, Celcom Blue starter pack.

Now, Celcom Blue customers will enjoy the revised call rate of 39sen/min and new services offered by the newly enhanced pack while features from the previous Celcom Blue pack such as Teman 20, Bonus Setia, Credit Advance, Credit Expiry, Airtime Share will also be retained.

The main feature of Celcom Blue is Teman 20 which is now much more rewarding, offering customers call rate for as low as 8sen/min to their 20 closest family and friends. 

"Celcom already has a strong prepaid brand targeting the youth in Xpax and we want to extend our dominance in the prepaid segment to also cover the adult market aged 25 and above; that is where Celcom Blue comes in," said Celcom's Director of Marketing, Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin.

He added: "At Celcom, we always remain segment focused and extensive research on the mobile behaviour of our target market was conducted in the efforts to better understand our customer's wants and needs. Now, that, we are able to understand and determine what it is they are looking for in a prepaid service, this enhanced Celcom Blue prepaid starter pack offers better bonuses and rewards."

Expanding on product features customers of the new Celcom Blue will now get to enjoy special call rates and reap more savings when they reload their airtime credit at a higher denomination. With every reload of RM30, calls to all networks are only at 35sen/min. Call rates for reload of RM50 and RM100 are 29sen/min and 19sen/min respectively.

Additionally, customers get more free credit with Bonus Bulanan when credit usage is more than RM50 per month and this free credit will automatically be credited to the customers every month.

The Bonus Hari Jadi rewards customers with FREE Calls and SMS to their Teman 20 on their Birthday for seven days. Now, Celcom Blue prepaid customers can also explore the mobile applications and contents such as Call Me Tones, SMS-based Social Networking and Celcom Broadband as special trial periods are offered free for up to one month.

The new Celcom Blue prepaid pack is an affordable starter pack, retailing at RM3. The pack is available at all participating Celcom key dealer outlets nationwide.
