Cats... Swashbuckling, slick, suave (and sweet for the she-cat); these kitties will take you for a swing and not let you down! Puss in Boots voiced by Antonio Banderas is entertaining and fun to watch if only for the main characters. I could not get enough of soft paws (Salma Hayek) and watching the dance-fight sequence was cute and original. The storyline moved at a good tempo to keep you entertained and waiting to see, what happens next. But while this may be a nice plot for the young, we older ones are sadly bereft once again of a fresh storyline. Putting a spin on the familiar childhood tale of Jack and the Beanstalk seemed at best an old story re-told with an extra splash of magical 3D effects.
The tale centres on the outlaw cat, and the other members of bean club - formed to outwit the notorious duo, Jack and Jill. Humpty Dumpty who is voiced so convincingly by Zach steals your heart with his simplicity and yet cuddly character, plays the brains behind the trio. Planning every move with such precision and zeal he relies on the two cats to execute things with every trick in the book known to felines. Almost reminiscent of the three musketeers, they fight with such finesse, one can't help but be charmed and endeared.
Witty, charming and entertaining. Purr...fect for those looking for some light and easy trip down amusement alley! :)

It's a pretty good film, especially the voice is provided by a great artist who puts soul into making it. Humanized cats I always liked since I was child.
