This week, The Circle introduces you to May Chan. No newbie to the design world, this digital artist and illustrator shares some of her works with us.

May Chan usually incorporates crazy, chaotic and bright vibrant colours in most of her works. Then there are the big eyes, TV heads, weird random characters and a lot of big 'poofing' flowers and spiral vines that lend the pieces, her personal signature.

Here are several samples of her spontaneous and random thoughts. By looking at them you somehow get the sense that a lot of emotion has been infused in some of her pieces.

May Chan prefers hand drawn work but sometimes leans on a little digital assistance to add texture to her pieces, thus helping her create a whole new different style. 

Her motto on art and design:  "It's like cooking the perfect pasta sauce. You don't need a reason to do it. It's all from the heart, all from the soul. It's all about passion."
